The rising star has considerable online audience
The young golfer can count on multiple prominent cheerleaders as she starts her LPGA debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who is related to Donald Trump, received a special exemption to play at the Annika tournament in Florida.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, possesses multiple international courses and frequently matches against Kai.
"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she revealed.
Kai explained that Trump, unable to come, counseled her: "Simply don't get nervous."
"He essentially suggested to go out there and relax," she explained.
"From my perspective, he's just a regular grandfather. He can't make it for the tournament. He's busy with presidential duties, so he's quite busy."
Being non-professional, Kai has participated in just three tournaments in 2024 and has position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.
But she can seek guidance from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with Vanessa.
"He is the greatest golfer in the world," Kai stated.
"Additionally, he's a more impressive human being. He told me to play, relax, following the flow."
The golfer will compete against multiple most prominent players in the sport at the competition, such as second-ranked the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
The LPGA mentioned that Kai's presence helps introduce golf to different demographics, specifically reaching the next generation.
The social media influencer maintains substantial online presence and just introduced her own apparel and wellness company.
Her first tee time at 17:30 GMT.
